Category: Special Issues

Special Issues are collections of articles centred on a specific theme of current interest within the scope of the journal. They are organized and led by subject experts who serve as Guest Editors.

Guest Editors for Special Issues are responsible for overseeing the editorial and peer review process for submissions within their Special Issue. Their role includes identifying suitable topics, inviting contributions, selecting reviewers, and providing recommendations on manuscripts based on peer review. All final publication decisions are made by the Co-Editors-in-Chief, in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies.

All submissions to Special Issues follow the same rigorous peer review process and ethical standards as regular submissions to the journal.
