In this article the authors Jun Feng, Li Zhang, Zhi-Gui Xia, Shui-Sen Zhou and Ning Xiao from National Center for International Research on Tropical Diseases, Shanghai, China and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China discuss the strategies which have led to malaria-free certification for China in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>China has achieved great success with its malaria elimination programme and has been awarded a malaria-free certification by WHO in June 2021.
